METOLOSE®

METOLOSE® food grades are a range of high quality methyl cellulose (E461) and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (E464) products. They are produced in a specialized production plant in Japan where plant-based raw material is turned into these special food ingredients.

METOLOSE® food grades have  the unique property to gel when heated. Because of this thermal gelation, METOLOSE® provides bite to plant-based products and stability to reformed food.
