Corporate Carbon Footprint
Following the publication of our life cycle product assessment in form of environmental product declarations (EPDs) in 2024, we proceeded to collect our company's (SE Tylose GmbH & Co. KG) corporate carbon footprint in 2025. In accordance with the greenhouse gas protocol, emissions data for scope 1 (direct on-site emissions), scope 2 (indirect emissions through purchased energy) and scope 3 (indirect emissions in the value chain) were collected for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024. Our corporate carbon footprint (CCF) for 2022 and 2024 was independently verified by a third-party audit. Having the environmental impact of our products in the form of our Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), as well as our total company greenhouse gas emissions established, we developed a reduction strategy based on a hotspot analysis. This reduction strategy is defining our corporate goals for reducing our greenhouse gas emissions, which are in line with the reduction targets set by Germany, Europe and Shin-Etsu Chemical.

Our greenhouse gas reduction targets form a key part of our commitment to climate protection and are in line with the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) guidelines for the 1.5 °C compatibility level in Scope 1 and 2 and for the 2 °C level in Scope 3.
SE Tylose GmbH & Co. KG has set itself the goal of reducing its CO₂e emissions in Scope 1 and 2 by 42% and in Scope 3 by 25% by 2030 compared to the base year 2022. The aim is to achieve climate neutrality in Scope 1 and 2 by 2045, and to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 90% by 2050.
Furthermore, our company is in accordance with the SBTi committed to reducing emissions by at least 90% compared to the 2022 baseline before offsetting residual emissions through accepted neutralisation measures.
We monitor our total emissions towards this target on a yearly basis and submit our reduction targets for verification by the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi), to which we have already committed
The CCF report will be available for download shortly.

We are evaluated on environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
