Career:
Dr. Ludwig Schmitz has been Director of Innovation & Administration at SE Tylose since 2023.
Since joining the company in 1994 (then Hoechst AG, later Clariant GmbH), Dr. Schmitz has held various positions within the company. For example, he was Head of Application Technology and responsible for product management of cellulose ethers and dispersion powders.
From 2010 to 2019, he was a managing director at Shin-Etsu Pharma & Food Materials Distribution GmbH and, following the merger of SE Tylose and Shin-Etsu Pharma & Food Materials Distribution GmbH, he remained responsible for sales in the pharmaceutical and food markets as Commercial Director until 2023.
